I was deeply touched to be invited by CGTN to share my story with China. Here is their portrait.
Félicie Corre, French designer in Shanghai, featured on CGTN
CGTN (China Global Television Network) is the international media arm of China's national broadcaster CCTV. Broadcasting in English, French, Spanish, Arabic and Russian, it reaches hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide. It is in this context that the channel dedicated a short documentary to Félicie Corre, founder of Voyageuses Paris, as part of its "Looking into China" series.
Her story with China
The documentary retraces the ten years the French designer Félicie Corre spent living in Shanghai — a defining experience that profoundly shaped her vision of fashion and the world. Captivated by China's landscapes, energy and cultural diversity, it was through her encounters with Chinese artisans and local creators that the idea of founding Voyageuses Paris came to life: a brand built on the meeting point between French elegance and Chinese craftsmanship.
Each journey back to China deepened Félicie Corre's understanding and admiration for the country. This unique blend of two cultures continues to inspire every piece she designs today.
Here is the video report:
Merci à l'équipe de CGTN pour cette belle rencontre et pour avoir donné une voix à cette aventure franco-chinoise qui est au cœur de Voyageuses Paris.
