Handcrafted by artisans from the Miao ethnic minority in Guizhou Province, China, this bracelet is wrapped in hand-stitched electric blue leather.
 
Made from 100% white copper, it features the distinctive Voyageuses Paris touch: lamb leather inserts that add colour, texture and a contemporary twist to a traditional piece.

Its Story
 
The Miao are one of China's largest ethnic minority groups and live in close-knit communities throughout Guizhou Province.
 
Jewellery-making is one of their most celebrated traditional crafts, historically practiced by men. These ornaments have long served as symbols of cultural identity and clan affiliation, while also representing a young woman's wealth before marriage.
 
Originally crafted from silver, these bracelets are now often made from white copper, making them lighter and more accessible while preserving the spirit and craftsmanship of the original pieces. More info here
